Access and Setup

Common questions about enabling Outreach and getting an organisation set up.

Accounts, organisations and sign in

Outreach runs on top of the NeonNow platform. For questions about signing up and signing in, organisations and multi-org, and user management and roles, see the platform docs.

How Do I Get Outreach Enabled for My Organisation?

An Org Admin selects Outreach in the sidebar and chooses Request Access on the product landing page. The NeonNow team then reviews and activates the subscription. See Requesting Access.

I'm a Campaigner and I Can't See Outreach: What Do I Do?

Where Outreach has not been enabled yet, a Campaigner sees a message asking them to contact their Org Admin. Only an Org Admin can request access. See Requesting Access.

I Requested Access but It Hasn't Been Activated Yet

Nothing further is needed from you after submitting the request. The NeonNow team reviews and activates subscriptions. If it has taken longer than expected, contact your account representative or NeonNow support. See Requesting Access.

Can I Cancel an Outreach Access Request?

Yes. While the request is still pending, an Org Admin can select Cancel Request on the landing page to withdraw it. See Requesting Access.

Why Can't My Campaigners Create Campaigns?

At least one delivery channel has to be configured first. Without Twilio credentials the SMS option is unavailable, and without a SendGrid API key the email option is unavailable. Only an Org Admin can fix this. See Settings.

Who Sets Up Contacts, Templates and Brands Before Campaigners Start?

A Campaign Manager, or an Admin or Org Admin. Campaigners can select a segment, apply a saved template, and view brands and apply one to a template they build in a campaign, but cannot create or change any of them, so the contact store, custom fields, segments, templates and brands should exist before a campaigner is asked to build a campaign. See Campaign Manager.

Do We Need a Campaign Manager to Send Anything?

No. A Campaigner can build a campaign, upload a contact file as the audience and write the template in the campaign, with no library material at all. A Campaign Manager becomes worth having once the same contacts or the same content are used more than once. See Getting Started.

What Order Should We Set Things Up In?

Access first, then a delivery channel, then contacts and fields, then the segments, templates and brands campaigns will draw on. Getting Started walks through that sequence and says which role does each part.
